B.Sc (Hons) Actuarial Sciences
Description:
This program designed at par with Professional Institute of Actuaries. It aims to provide a solid foundation in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematical finance and modelling coupled with the necessary modules of Actuarial Science and ample space to develop the younger minds to work as a team and leadership skills. At the end of program, the learner can become an actuarial specialist and join in any insurance firms.

Mix of Industry– Academia Teaching: Teaching is collaborated with industry incorporating projects, workshops and invited talks
Industry Mentor for every single student from 3rd semester onwards: people from various industry sectors such as finance, insurance, mathematics will acts as mentor for the students from 3rd semester onwards. So that students are always connected with industry orientation
Group project during the third year: students will start their group project collaborated with school and industry.
One Full Semester Internship in the relevant Industry: Students will be allocated internship or project in various industry sectors. The students will be guided, directed, and moulded by the external industry expert. So that student will be aligned and experienced with industry perspective.
