Admission Notification for PhD Program – March 2023
Applications are invited for research program leading to the award of PhD degree under Chanakya University from Indian and Foreign nationals seeking to pursue Research in contemporary issues, with special focus on Inter/ Multi-disciplinary perspectives in exploring Indic Solutions for Global Challenges.
Admissions are offered by the following schools in the domains mentioned below:

|School of Commerce & Management||Commerce, Management|
|School of Mathematics & Natural Science||Mathematics, Computer Science, Psychology|
|School of Public Policy & Legal Studies||Law and Public Policy|
|School of Education||Education|
Eligibility: 2 Years Master’s degree with an aggregate of 55% / 4 Year UG degree with a Professional Qualification having minimum of 60% or Equivalent grade from Indian/ Foreign Educational institution recognized by the competent authority and approved by the statutory bodies of the University.
Fee: The Annual Fee for the PhD programme is INR 60,000 (Rupees Sixty Thousand)
Fellowship: Select Fellowships are offered to eligible candidates pursuing research in key focus areas, as prescribed by the regulations.
Commencement of the Program: June 2023
- Qualifying in the Chanakya PhD Eligibility Test*
- Personal Interview
- Candidates qualifying in the UGC/CSIR JRF or NET or KSET or GATE are exempted from the PhD written test.
Candidates may visit the University website to apply in the prescribed format for submission along with a registration fee of Rs. 1000.
